About Ulysi
Here’s the essentials about Ulysi and it’s founder…
What’s Ulysi all about?
The Ulysi website is designed to provide quick and easy access to the most popular and useful websites on the Internet. Its main target audience is towards UK visitors; therefore all live links must be suitable for this area.
Ulysi’s current form is a long way off from its original concept and is now in it’s forth iteration. Its key goal remains the same, to highlight the best of the best, showcasing the most popular and useful websites at the click of a button.
What’s new?
The latest version of Ulysi went live on the 1st of August 2013 and has been one of the biggest changes to date. Below is a sample of some of the changes that have been made.
Version 4.13 includes:
- New Design
- New Content
- Improved front-end functionality
- Cleaner code and improved back-end & front-end framework
- Reduced external link volume (caused by previous duplication)
- 30% reduction is source code
- Built using HTML5 & CSS3
- New naming conventions that allow for expansion
Who’s behind the site?
Ulysi is the brainchild of entrepreneur James Parry, who, since graduating from Kingston-Upon-Thames University has gone on to develop several projects and businesses.
James is a highly creative and dedicated individual that thrives on new challenges. When he’s not busy working you’ll find him doing something adventurous like wakeboarding, snowboarding or kite surfing.
He’s a pretty interesting guy and has been tagged as “one to watch” by London’s Time Out Magazine in their article about up and coming students. For business related enquiries outside of Ulysi you can connect with James on LinkedIn.
