Q1. Is it free to add my website?
If your website meets our “pre-approved” criteria as outlined here: Pre-Approval Criteria then it will be free to submit your website to the Ulysi database. For any website that does not meet any of the criteria a one off administration fee will be charged for evaluating the website.
Q2. Do all websites get accepted?
No, we have strict guidelines on what we deem suitable for the Ulysi database, popularity and usefulness are key. If your website is as popular as Facebook or as useful as Ebay, then you shouldn’t have any problems. However, our team has the final decision.
Q3. Are there any types of websites guaranteed to be rejected?
Yes, please see the following section for a list of sites we do not accept.
Q4. Do you allow search optimised anchor text for my website?
No, all links follow the same format using their domain name as the anchor text e.g: yourdomain.com
Q5. Do you allow linking to sup pages or sub domains?
Yes, we’re happy to link to sub pages or sub domains providing it is appropriate to do so, else your homepage will be used. Our team has the final decision.
Q6. Do you allow search optimised text in the alt tag for the logo?
Yes. However, “alt” tags are set to your company name or domain name followed by any additional text up to 50 characters in length. Any additional text must relate to the target website or page content, else it will be rejected.
Q7. How long does it take for my listing to go live?
If your website meets the Pre Approved Criteria then your listing could go live within 24 hours. All other listings take a minimum of 1 week to pass the evaluation process at which point they will either be rejected or made live.
Q8. If my website gets rejected will I get a refund?
No, the administration fee covers the process of carrying out the evaluation of your website. No refunds are provided. Do NOT submit your website if you are un-happy with these terms. Other terms and conditions apply.
Q9. If my website gets rejected will you tell me the reason why?
Yes, we will notify you via email of the reason(s) your site was rejected so that you can either fix the issue and apply again or decide not to re-submit.
